Hey, I’ve just dropped my Indie/Electro remix of Little Brother‘s “The Way You Do It”! It’s 100 percent upbeat/fun and anything but repetitive. Listen up!
Redlight is a way understated producer coming out of Boston. He blogs a lil too, and posts all his remixes on his blog as well, peep game. Honestly.. I can’t say much about dude, because like I said, he’s understated. All I can really say is, he makes some clean cut and diverse tracks that pack a serious bang. Check out these remixes:

Magnetic Man – I Need Air (Redlight Remix)
…he recently did the official remix for Magnetic Man’s latest banger “I Need Air”
Skream is already a young legend in the dubstep scene. We saw him with Benga last year at Whiteroom, where shit was immediately shut the fuck down.
This new project is absolutely amazing. From his hard hitting “8 bit” collaboration with rapper Murs, to the lovely and melodic “Epic Last Song”. The vocal effects have me hooked too… I’m a sucker. Here’s a couple of the new tracks! Only one download, sorry. You can find the album if you really want it… or wait for it’s release and buy that shit! Support!
Major Lazer just released their new EP “Lazers Never Die”. Top notch dub tracks featuring artists from MIA to Collie Buddz. The MIA track is EXTRA dope! Looking forward to some good remixes. Oh wait, there already is one, and it SLAYS.
SQUARE BIZ Secretary Of Defense DJ D-Up dropped the 4th installment in his mixtape series “Rare Form”. With Vol.4 D-Up brings the newest + dopest electro/indie dance tracks from names you can’t pass up. Great mix for the summer no doubt!

Boys Noize has blown up in a big way, and rightfully so. He has consistently released quality originals and remixes. I don’t have much to tell you about Boys Noize except that if you haven’t hopped on that yet… GET ON IT. This dude recently released his first remix since “you dont know love“, a remix of N.E.R.D’s new track “Hot-N-Fun”.
Benga is a pioneer and front-runner in the dubstep scene right now. Miamians got a taste of him at Whiteroom last winter when he performed live with the equally legendary Skream.
On this new single release we have “Stop Watching” and “Little Bits” both are killer tracks. “Stop Watching” is more classic dubstep, going hard with the bass. “Little Bits” is a banger, excellent dubstep track that could bang in a subbed out set or even at a rave.

I believe Benga’s people have asked for this to not be downloadable. But you can download this one!–>
When I was in San Francisco a few years ago, walking down Haight Ashbury looking for some fire ass Cali bud (which I found) I randomly stumbled upon 4 guys setting up a sound system and samplers on a table across from the famous Amoeba Records. Out of nowhere these guys start performing the wildest Glitch-Hop show right there in the street. 10 minutes of crazy live sampling later and there’s a legit dance party blocking traffic for 3 blocks. The crazy hippies were getting loose! Cops eventually came and broke it up, but the DJs took it as a photo op, posing for pics with cops.
That was my introduction to The Glitch Mob. These guys are killer, and they’ve just released a new album this month “Drink The Sea”. This new album really shows the technical prowess and diversity that was missing from their previous releases without losing the exciting sound they have owned from day one.
THEY’RE COMING TO MIAMI! August 30th @ Revolution, $15: DETAILS/TICKETS …don’t miss this show.
Here’s a couple tracks off “Drink The Sea” (right click/save as to download):
Pretty Lights are killing the Glitch-Hop scene right now. They self-release all their music through their own label “Pretty Lights Records” and all of their music is FREE on their website www.prettylightsmusic.com. If you were lucky enough to catch them in Miami at the end of last year, then I don’t have to tell you about how killer their live set is. Half of Pretty Lights live show is Cory Eberhard, who performs live drums during the set. The other half is producer Derek Smith.
Their style is a deadly combination of heavy soul/funk sampling and buzzy wobbling and glitching synth lines. Pretty Lights released the 6-track EP “Making Up a Changing Mind” in March of this year. It’s part of a 3 EP trilogy set to be completed by the end of 2010. Time to get up on your Glitch-Hop!
Pretty Lights – Still Rockin
Pretty Lights – Understand Me Now
PS. I’m not posting downloads for these because they have a shitload of free albums on their website that are all kick-ass and free, get at em HERE!
